Thanks for reading my poem. The two columns are read one after the other, then the final column that's centered. I myself am mystified by what I write, and how it comes out of me. Wonder what I'm doing sometimes.
Prior to the establishment of "Gather Picks" you could see a list of all content that was featured on the Gather Home Page. This was a GREAT way to see what was chosen by site editors, and made for very interesting reading. Sadly, they removed this ability when they changed the Gather design several months ago.
I have been contemplating a way to create something like this, and I hope to have it together within the next week or so. When I do, I'll announce it at the HelpCenter.

Happy New Year! Say, you had commented on an essay I wrote about a history jaunt I took around St. Peter, MN with my now 17-year old daughter. Anyhow, I finally discovered the "oldest" cemetery in MN. Funny thing is, it is called St. Peter's Cemetery--but it is located in Mendota near Ft. Snelling. I suspect there are older burial places though (not counting Native burial grounds).
Well, I am just now getting this gather thing figured out and will be submitting more articles and starting up a few groups including one that will be dedicated to writing"green." I am interested to experiment with writers building awareness of issues like global warming without being political or preachy. I'll send you an invitation to connect if you are interested in participating in some of these groups as they are developed. They will be moderated to keep content focused on the theme.
